Sir Ranulph
Fiennes OBE

Ranulph Fiennes has been described in the Guinness Book of
Records as "the world's greatest living explorer." He has
achieved many exploratory world records in hot deserts and the polar
regions and raised millions of pounds for charity.
He speaks regularly at major business conferences worldwide and
the Daily Telegraph recently referred to him as "one of the Top
Twenty international speakers". He is also an author of several
books, including
Beyond the Limits.
It is fitting that his should be the opening endorsement of a book
which closes by challenging the reader to: "Now discover the
potential within you". A few months after undergoing heart
by-pass
surgery, he ran seven marathons in seven continents in seven days,
to help fight heart disease. The photograph shows Sir Ranulph and
Dr Mike Stroud at the end of the last marathon in New York.
Following publication in December 2003, copies of
That Attitude Book were sent to carefully selected high
achievers, inviting them to endorse it
"in as few or as
many words you consider appropriate". The response has been
fantastic, with more than 100 endorsements received.
