Rollo Armstrong

Rollo Armstrong, the  brother of Dido, is a philosophy graduate who discovered banging house music with his friend Judge Jules, while at University College School in Hampstead, London.

He is founder and producer of the band Faithless. With core band members Maxi Jazz and Sister Bliss, Faithless has amassed dozens of hits, three original albums, three remixed albums and thousands of live shows.

Rollo is Head of the Cheeky Records label and has made multi million dance records in his own right with his younger sister Dido, as well as remixes for U2, Bjork and The Petshop Boys.

Rollo once admitted that he "can't play an instrument,

can't dance in time, can't remember any melodies", which

is why he doesn't play live with Faithless. Although he

rarely shows himself to the public, he is one of the main

reasons for the special Faithless sound, that is so unique.

Rollo's book Safe from Harm, aimed at adults and older

children, about the experience of being a child, was

published in September 2005.

Text Box: Text Box: “This is a beautiful book. It mixes common sense with some profound truths. I do not necessarily agree with all its conclusions, but it has been enjoyable food for thought for all I know who have read it. Deceptively simple and I recommend it to anyone.”
