Dr Trevor Davies

Trevor Davies is an Academic at the Institute of Education, University of Reading. He is an experienced teacher, university lecturer and researcher.

As well as his teaching, he is facilitating the setting up of a collaborative PhD programme in Global Leadership and Ethics involving the University of Reading, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and Murray State University, Kentucky.

Trevor is consulting with Wokingham Local Authority – facilitating developments with more able children including gifted and talented students (including setting up, tutoring and monitoring ‘Best Practice’ scholarships for teachers).

He is director of a series of international in-service training courses sponsored by the EU on the theme of  “Learning to learn: developing new structures for individual creativity and autonomy”. Courses have taken place in Norway, Poland and Sweden.
 

Trevor is author of several publications and has given regular papers at national and international technology and research conferences.
