Sir Digby Jones

 

Digby Jones, a former vice-chairman of corporate finance at KPMG, has been Director General of the CBI (Confederation of British Industry) since January 2000. As DG of the UK's 'voice of business', he regularly visits businesses around the UK and has taken the British business message to over 57 different countries since he was appointed. Sir Digby leads the CBI in persuading the Government to recognise and act upon a host of British industry needs. He is a popular and regular figure in the media and holds numerous non-executive positions.
