Paul Heathcote

Paul Heathcote is one of the north west's top chefs. Born in Bolton in 1960, at the age of 29, after 12 years of training with world-famous names like Raymond Blanc, he opened Heathcotes restaurant in Longridge near Preston. His accolades include a Michelin Star, 'Restaurant of the Year', 'Newcomer of the Year' and 'Chef of the Year' awards.

By the end of 2003 his company had grown

to include five Simply Heathcotes restaurants,

an Olive Press restaurant in Preston,

Heathcotes Outside (an event catering arm)

and a School of Excellence.
