Nick Wheeler

Nick Wheeler is founder of Charles Tyrwhitt (pronounced "Tirrit"!). His full name is Nicholas Charles Tyrwhitt Wheeler.

Nick spent his university years punching names into a database and selling shirts. After two years working with Bain Management consultants, he started his distinctive gentlemen's shirt making business in 1986.

Charles Tyrwhitt now operates from a flagship shop in London's Jermyn Street, which has been famous for its quality retailers and craftsmen since 1730, when the perfumery Floris set up shop at No 89. Since then it has become home to the finest quality shirt makers in the world.

Charles Tyrwhitt has grown to become England's largest maker of quality shirts through the Internet and mail order and now employs over 200 people. It continues to offer its unique combination of quality and service to all those able to visit Jermyn Street and also almost half a million customers around the world.
