Dawn Gibbins founded Flowcrete with her father in 1982 and has led the company from its start-up to UK market leadership today. Flowcrete's reputation for innovation and problem solving earned the company five Government SMART awards and Dawn an MBE for services to industry in 1994 - the youngest industrialist ever to be given such a prestigious award.

By 2003 Flowcrete Group plc, based in Sandbach Cheshire, had become the worlds leading manufacturer of specialist industrial and commercial flooring products, with manufacturing centres in UK, Sweden, Malaysia and USA and sales offices in 18 countries.  Dawn won the internationally renowned Veuve Clicquot 'Business Woman of the Year' 2003.

Dawn lectures in 'inspirational leadership' at Henley Management College, and works with the Professor of Creativity & Organisational Change from Manchester Business School to promote a leadership based on kindness rather than fear.
